Vishal Shah is a designer and video editor who graduated from the Royal College of Art (2002). Vishal teaches video and video production at the RCA. Vishal is also a visiting lecturer in several art and design institutions in the United Kingdom including the Royal Academy of Arts, London.
'Seek Assistance' a Freaksignal Production was screened at the International Media Festival, Yerevan, Armenia (Aug 2005), curated by Eva Khachatrian, International Kunst Film Biennale (Oct 2005), Museum Ludwig, Köln, Germany. 'Seek Assistance' has been screened at International AV Festival, 'LifeLike' (2006) in the film digital shorts programme, curated by Tom Bland from onedotzero and Honor Harger program director. The film was exhibited in 'Mobile' Espace Landowski, Boulogne-Billancourt in Paris, France (Apr-May 2006), curated by Robin Rimbaud aka Scanner. 'Mobile', an exhibition of audio/visual related films, shown in a unique lounge style area, designed by Fabrice Gygi in a 'Videotheque Mobile' almost like a little mobile library. Featuring works by Semi-conductor, Judith Goddard, D-Fuse, HFR-Lab, Frank David, Stefan Nikolaev.
Vishal more recently curated the show 'Still in Motion' single screen video works, by four artists (Aug 2006). 'Still in Motion' was exhibited at the Leonard Street Gallery in London.
